We’re proud to announce that the Agilysis Speed Compliance Tool has been shortlisted for two prestigious awards at the upcoming CIHT Awards 2025. The tool has been recognised in both the Road Safety Award and Technology Award categories, which is an incredible endorsement of its innovation, impact, and value to the transport sector.
The CIHT Awards celebrate excellence across the highways and transportation industry, and we’re honoured to be recognised alongside so many inspiring projects and organisations. These nominations reflect years of collaboration, innovation, and dedication to improving road safety outcomes using modern technology and data-driven insights.
Initially launched in Berkshire, the Speed Compliance Tool was designed to solve a fundamental challenge: how to make speed data more accessible, affordable, and actionable across entire road networks. By combining connected vehicle data with accurate national speed limits, we’ve created a platform that allows police forces, local authorities, and road safety professionals to monitor compliance, identify risk, and prioritise interventions, without the delays or costs associated with traditional surveys.
The tool is now in use across Great Britain, supporting over 180 users in 34 organisations. It has helped shape decisions on everything from enforcement activity and infrastructure planning to public engagement and policy consultation.
Being shortlisted for both Road Safety and Technology awards is a testament to the tool’s versatility and real-world impact.
