National Young Rider Forum terms & conditions for ‘Young Riders Matter’ online survey for young riders

These terms & conditions form a contract between the National Young Rider Forum (NYRF) and those who enter the competition.

The terms and conditions apply to all competitions featured in any publication or online promotion organised by the NYRF.

By entering the competition, entrants completing the NYRF survey accept these terms and conditions together with any specific instructions and terms for such competition which may be mentioned in any electronic message, or on the new rider hub website, social media platforms or communicated to entrants in any other way.

The NYRF may cancel or amend any competition or competition information or these terms and conditions without prior notice.

Any changes will be posted either with the competition information or these terms and conditions.

Competition Entry.

Entrants must be aged between 16 and 24 years, currently licensed or have previously been licensed (within the last 12 months) to ride a motorcycle.

Entrants must have fully completed the NYRF online survey.

The opening and closing dates and times of entry are subject to NYRF obtaining sufficient numbers of completed online surveys to meet the overall need of the RST NYRF Project ‘Young Riders Matter’. This is likely to be at the end of February 2025 but may if needed be extended to the end of March 2025, or even further, subject to change.

By entering the competition stage of the online survey, entrants warrant that all information submitted by them is true, current and complete.

Only one entry per entrant and the survey must have been fully completed before the entrant is able to enter the competition.

Any entries and surveys which are incomplete, incorrect or incomprehensible will be void.

The Prize.

The only prize offered is as specified, there is no cash or other alternative.

The prize is a brand-new motorcycle helmet with an approved rating from SHARP chosen from a retail outlet, where the prize winner themselves chooses and has fitted appropriately, up to the value of £300.

The prize has an upper value of £300, but in the event of a helmet chosen that is below that value the balance between it and the £300 will not be given to the winner.

The prize value will only be paid to the retail company on production of a valid, in date, bill of sale endorsed by the salesperson and the winner (as receiver of the prize).

The competition winner will be drawn randomly from the valid competition entries by a member of staff from Agilysis Ltd who are conducting the survey and are totally separate from NYRF.

The prize winner must agree to having a photograph taken choosing the prize (including wearing the helmet) and give permission for the photograph to be used by NYRF on its website, social media platforms & any other NYRF related material for an unspecified period.

NYRF will attempt to notify the winner within 7 days of the closing date of the online survey or as otherwise directed in the competition information.

The winner will have a specified fixed period to claim the prize and buy the helmet (to be agreed).

If the NYRF is unable to notify the winner or the winner fails to respond to claim the prize, then NYRF will select an alternative prize winner.

Any entrant who enters or attempts to enter the competition in a manner which NYRF determines is contrary to these terms & conditions maybe removed from it at the sole discretion of the NYRF.
