September 20, 2017

West Berkshire Council colleague Cheryl Evans will be presenting the evaluation of 'Bikes Big Trucks & You' at the European Conference on Injury Prevention and Safety Promotion.

The co-developed 'Bikes Big Trucks & You' was produced by West Berkshire Council, Royal Mail and Agilysis and will be used to share how a children's road safety intervention has been evaluated.

‘Bikes, Big Trucks & You’ represents a good practice example of how to develop, deliver and evaluate a data driven, research informed, successful intervention in children road safety.

The conference programme includes three plenary sessions on injury prevention policies, challenges and strategies, and ten break-out sessions on key injury prevention issues.

The event brings together people with a professional interest in injury prevention policies and safety promotion, and will take place in Amsterdam's Dam Square on 21st and 22nd September at the Royal Industrial Club.
