March 7, 2018

The paradigm shift in road safety philosophy over the last decade has been towards a ‘Safe System’ approach.  The fundamental principles of this is that people are vulnerable and people make mistakes, something that needs to be clearly understood by road safety practitioners.

Agilysis have designed a packed one-day course, developed by its CEO Richard Owen, that aims to help professionals understand the core philosophy, inspire leadership, and crucially embed safe system principles in future work. This course is being delivered to all Highways England Area Safety Coordinators featuring bespoke elements covering key Highways England policy documents and real-world examples from the strategic road network.
