In the past year, we've successfully delivered Safe System training to over 150 participants across Scotland, the North West, the Midlands, the South East and Yorkshire & Humber. Due to overwhelming demand and the success of these sessions, we can now reveal the date for the inaugural two-day residential course for 2024. Mark your calendars for Tuesday, April 23rd, and Wednesday, April 24th as we gather at Whately Hall in Banbury.
Agilysis will partner with the Road Safety Foundation to deliver these 2-day open training courses at Whately Hall.
Set in the historic town of Banbury, on the river Cherwell in Oxfordshire, at the edge of the Cotswolds. Dating back to 1677, this historic inn boasts many original features such as stone passages, priests’ holes and a fine wooden staircase. Spacious public areas include the oak-panelled restaurant, which overlooks the attractive well-tended gardens, a choice of lounges and an opulent art deco style Berkeley’s Bar and Restaurant.
Our Safe System training is crafted to empower professionals, providing you with the opportunity to work through the implications of the Safe System for your work to ensure maximum impact. We bring the latest strategies, insights, and understanding to amplify your expertise.

- Elected members

What previous attendees have to say:
‘The Safe System training sessions delivered by Agilysis and The Road Safety Foundation were an excellent primer to navigate this approach to contemporary road safety issues. In attendance were delegates from a wide range of partnership organisations, from Local Authorities and Emergency Services to Charities and Community groups. Despite the range of experience and perspectives in the room, in all three sessions, the team proved adept at facilitating rich, informative discussions, while maintaining focus on the framework provided by the Safe System.
The team are authoritative experts in their own rights, but no question was too complex nor too simple. As someone relatively fresh to the road safety profession myself, I found the sessions particularly useful in structuring my understanding; and alongside more experienced practitioners, benefited from the team’s analysis of the latest technical and legislative developments. Our aim of deepening a collective orientation within the West Midlands Regional Road Safety Partnership has been achieved, and the feedback received from attendees, including senior planners, has been very encouraging.’
