The audit combines a detailed assessment of an organisation's current data assets to surface barriers, flag unmet evidence needs, and prioritise improvements. The final report is a practical, evidence-led roadmap: a comprehensive Data Landscape, a prioritised and costed Data Collection Plan, and recommendations tailored to your existing strategies and performance objectives.
Rather than stopping at a list of problems, the audit sets out a clear path forward. You get prioritised recommendations, information on relevant data sources, estimated procurement timescales, and expert guidance on implementation, so investment goes where it will deliver the greatest value.
The team behind the audit has already delivered comparable data work with SYMCA and Transport Scotland, so the methodology isn't new. What's new is packaging it as a standalone, costed product that any authority or partnership can commission directly.
What the audit includes
Every audit produces two core outputs: a Data Landscape Report and a Data Collection Plan. Together, they give an organisation a clear view of the data it currently holds, how well that data supports Safe System objectives, where the evidence gaps sit, and what to do about them.
The audit also includes dedicated consultancy time from Agilysis. That time typically covers an initial stakeholder workshop to understand current challenges, ambitions, and data requirements, followed by a session to present and discuss the findings and recommendations.
