Masterclass webinar series draws to a close

Thank you to everyone who was able to attend one of the four webinars in our latest masterclass series throughout May.

Now a regular event in our calendar, this latest series explored four key themes in road safety beginning with active travel, where we explored how to use a range of tools and analysis to provide route risk analysis for cyclists and pedestrians on their journey to and from schools.

The following week we revisited safety performance indicators, expanding on the work done with RSGB in determining what measures were important and now looking at ways in which to monitor and track them.

In the third webinar we discussed evaluation of road safety interventions looking at different approaches and methodologies, and the quality of evaluation which they can provide.

Finally, to close the series Steve Gooding from the RAC foundation joined us to further discuss the recent report on Rural Roads and the new taxonomy for rural road classification.

The next series is due to take place in October, if you have any suggestions of topics which you would like us to cover, then you can suggest these via out content page here.

If you were unable to attend any of these webinars, you can find the recordings on our content page also.
