Another training course on evaluation techniques, but this time with Tanya taking new Research and Evaluation Analyst, Amanpreet Kaur, on her first outing. This course followed the normal syllabus, providing practitioners with practical techniques for designing and conducting evaluations. For Aman, this was a prime opportunity to learn the content of the course and to see how her evaluation skills can be used in practice in the road safety arena.

Creating safer environments, especially in road safety, requires more than strategies and procedures; it demands a strong workplace culture that prioritises safety. Corporate culture, which comprises shared values and behaviors, plays a crucial role in successfully implementing Safe System working. Case studies from companies like Etsy and Salesforce demonstrate how aligning culture with safety goals can drive significant positive change. By fostering a Safe System culture where safety is a core value, organisations can move closer to achieving ambitious goals, such as Transport Scotland's vision of zero road fatalities by 2030.
